Letter to the editor
Response to the Magazine Article:
I have read the Outer Boundary Magazine article. I will not say I liked reading it. Cause I didn't. But I think it’s something citizens should not just ignore. I have a hard time believing an article as extensive as this can be just "made up". If it is all made up of mostly falsified information, then I would expect there already is a defamation lawsuit in the works. Which would be absolutely wonderful for the citizens, since the proof of innocence or guilt would be put out on the table for all to see. I'd take off work to sit in on them court proceedings.
What I do know is suspicious, is the fact that a commissioner writes a letter to the editor, oh I mean a citizen, and pulls what all of us have watched on tv for the past ten years. Right out of the book of Obama or Bush. When people try to tell things they know about a person or group, their defense is always the same. "Don't listen to them", "Oh that? Yea that's all lies." "Just ignore that." Then followed up by a pep talk about how great we are and how great our future looks. Yea, I've heard enough of that. Tell us why each sub-topic of the article is true or false. Don't just tell us not to read it!
There was one thing I really didn't like about the article. I didn't like him including Weber & Leth Law Offices. Government is public, so they are always fair game to criticism. Weber/Leth Law is a private business. They went to school, became lawyers and are doing that as a career. They are paid by people to do legal actions of all sorts. That's what they do. I don't fault them for any of that. It’s America, it's still legal to make your own living.
Proud Dodge County Citizen,
