Stanley Alger Erickson, 84, died on August 17, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

Stanley was born on January 18, 1926. He married Donna M. Woodward in Dodge Center. The couple first resided on a farm in Dodge County. Stanley was hired by Mayo Clinic as an animal technician, and was employed there for 41 years. The couple later moved to Rochester and then to Mantorville. Stanley was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church UCC in Dodge Center.

Stanley is survived by his wife Donna of Mantorville; two daughters: Peggy (Butch) Brekke of Claremont and Kathy (Michael) Niemiec of Roseville, CA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer (Helen) Erickson of Dodge Center and Edwin Erickson of Kasson; three sisters: Doris Vrieze and Deloris Rasmussen, both of Dodge Center and Ada Mahnke of Kasson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Andrew.

Funeral services for Stanley Alger Erickson were August 21 at the First Congregational UCC Church in Dodge Center with Reverend Jean Boese officiating. A private family interment was in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.

Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Hayfield was in charge of arrangements.
