Free Family Fun Day rescheduled
Due to inclement weather on Sunday, January 27th the Free Family Fun Day Speak-out event has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 10th from 3-5:30 p.m. That afternoon the K-M Early Childhood Initiative and Community Education will host a “Speak Out” forum on the state of early childhood in our community. The event will include a presentation of “Did You Know?…Valuable Information for all Families/Parents with Children, Newborn and Beyond” which will include statistics, developmental information, and resources available to parents in the Kasson-Mantorville area. In addition, Tina Fiegel, author of the Nurtured Heart Approach will share helpful information for parents or caregivers searching for new ideas, strategies and techniques in the area of discipline for their children. Children will join early childhood specialists for a fun afternoon, and a family supper will be served. This event will be held in the Community Education/Elementary School and is free of charge.
