COLLEGE/EDUCATION/TRAINING: Started at Mankato State University and finished at RCTC/Winona where I earnd my business administration degree. I then went on to become a medical secretary at the Mayo Clinic. During my time at Mayo, I went on to earn a bachelors degree in accounting and passed the CPA exam. I remember taking the CPA training/exam when my children were young-not sure how I did it all, but here I am today.

ORGANIZATIONS/VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT: Member of Kasson Chamber of Commerce, NATP, (National Association of Tax Preparers), church volunteer work

LENGTH OF TIME IN BUSINESS: Seven years

WHAT YOU ENJOY THE MOST ABOUT YOUR WORK: The client interaction-getting to know people. It is fun catching up each year when people come in to have their taxes done.

A TYPICAL DAY CONSISTS OF: There is no typical day. It depends on whether or not it is tax time. It is very busy then. We are open all year, but each day is different. Some days I don't even get to my list of things to do-there can be many interruptions and unexpected calls.
