Coldwell Banker At Your Service Realty
As the saying goes, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade". Samantha Madson did not make the lemonade, but she is drinking it.
Samantha grew up in Kasson the youngest of Kim and Jerry Madson's three daughters. She graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 2008 and attended the University of Wisconsin/ La Crosse and Rochester Community and Technical College. For five years she worked at Eastwood Bank floating positions at their various locations. She then worked for a custom builder. Then came the call.
The call came from Tracie Fogelson. Tracie knew Samantha through her son Ryan who is a friend of Samantha's boyfriend, Joel. Tracie, a Coldwell Banker At Your Service Realtor, had received a medical diagnosis in November 2012 that meant Tracie might not be able to work every day, and in real estate timing can be crucial. Tracie contacted Samantha and asked if she was interested in becoming business partners. Samantha already had her real estate license and was thinking this could be a good opportunity. For Tracie this meant she would have someone to accompany her to client meetings, open houses , showings and so on. Clients would have the opportunity to meet Samantha and if Tracie needed to be gone, Samantha could step in. Samantha is quick to realize the overall importance of working with Tracie. "I feel so lucky to be working with Tracie. I am learning so much. Her experience has given her lots to share", Samantha said.
Samantha is also managing her own schedule assisting both buyers and sellers with all the details of residential and rural real estate transactions. She has the background and knowledge to help clients attain their real estate goals. "I am eager to learn more and further my knowledge in this business", Samantha says. "I love my job and want my clients to have fun and even enjoy the experience", she continues. "I want them to know I will always do the right thing and make the process as stress -free as possible". Those words echo the philosophy of Jim and Diane Nelson, owners of Coldwell Banker At Your Service Realty. 'Doing the right thing' drives their every decision and builds a foundation of trust and integrity.
Back to the lemonade. Tracie's diagnosis may have been a bit of a lemon, but in true Tracie fashion she is making a great batch of lemonade, by strengthening her business with Samantha's presence while at the same time teaching Samantha all the ins and outs of real estate. It's a win win situation. On top of that clients will benefit from both. "I am so glad Tracie called me. I love what I am doing and am excited to learn more and build my business", Samantha smiles. Just keep drinking the lemonade and pass a glass while you are at it. That's what Tracie would do.
And to top it all off, Tracie has received a good report from her doctors. So Samantha may not be needed as much to fill in for Tracie, but she will still continue to be at the ready and always eager to help and learn more.
