Quick question: Do fad diets work? The answer is YES. Surprised I'd say that, aren't you? But I'm not finished. You will lose weight (and probably muscle; not the fat loss you wanted) and then most likely (97% likely as a matter of fact), gain it all back, plus a few more. Fad diets aren't pretty.

What is hope anyway? What happens when we don't have hope in our lives? Today I read my morning meditation and there was a reference to hope. That once the hope is realized; it is not hope anymore.

What happens to us is that when we get overwhelmed our brains keep trying to play catch up and in the process, this brain frenzy short circuits our actions. Now don’t get me wrong we are working like crazy but we don’t seem to be accomplishing much because we are trying to do too much too fast.

Our habit for December is learning to Pamper ourselves. So many times we ignore the little messages from our body that we need to take a break.

I got up in the middle of the night with this one thought on my mind, “Too much of a good thing is a bad thing!” The example that came to mind was my assistant Michele. A couple of years ago she got addicted to her daily walk.
