EarthquakeWith the recent earthquake disaster in Chile, on the heals of the devastating quake in Haiti, there has been talk of the next big quake in the United States. It’s not a matter of IF but WHEN! Census I find it amazing how a U.S. census can even be close to accurate and I’m not faulting the census bureau for they are doing the best they can. K-M wrestlers third, Thomas wins state title K-M High School wrestling success reached a new level last week at the state tournament held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The team placed third, making this their best showing in school history, and freshman 103 pounder Nate Thomas became the sixth individual champion at K-M. Nate Thomas wins state individual title K-M freshman Nate Thomas won the ultimate individual prize at the state wrestling tournament last week. He became the KoMet’s sixth state wrestling champion in school history. KoMets win first five matches, coast to 35-18 win at State The K-M wrestling team began state tournament action Thursday morning with a 35-18 win over Adrian. The KoMets won the first five and seven of the first eight to build a 23-6 lead and coasted from there. |
