Quality of education rated high at K-M

The Morris Leatherman community survey revealed that K-M School District residents believe the quality of education here is very high. In fact 65% of the 400 respondents said the quality of education is excellent and another 26% rated the quality of education as good.

Personal response device "clicker" has more uses in the classroom

The clicker, a personal response device, has been in use in the K-M school system for a few years. Now staff, including middle school math teacher Amy Wix, are finding more uses for the clicker that allow students to become more engaged in the classroom and receive immediate feedback on their understanding of new concepts.

On Wednesday, May 7th, Advanced Art class along with their art teacher, Marilyn Fredrickson took a field trip to the Twin Cities to view master works of art at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, Walker Art Center, and sculpture garden.

Kindergarten raises record amount for Paws & Claws

The K-M morning and afternoon kindergarten classes raised a record $428.98 for Paws and Claws in Rochester by bringing their loose change and dollar bills to school over a period of one week.
