Braxton Raymond hits 1,000 points, KoMets blast Knights 82-47

Junior Braxton Raymond hit a free throw to score the 1,000th point of his career Friday night in a 82-47 win over Kenyon-Wanamingo. The KoMets have now won four of their last five and improved to 9-7 overall, 4-2 in the HVL.

13-0 and continuing to roll; Girls roll up two more HVL wins

The KoMet girls basketball team improved to 13-0 with a pair of HVL wins over rival "neighbors" Byron 70-50 and Triton Friday night 75-30.

Rasmussen's seven goals, two assists lead Wildcats to 13-0 drubbing

Senior Dana Rasmussen is the career goal scorer and points leader for the Dodge County Wildcats. She has had several big offensive games but the one against Rochester Mayo Thursday night will be one to remember.

HVL wrestling win streak barely kept intact, 31-30

Coach Jamie Heidt knew the KoMets would have their hands full against Kenyon-Wanamingo (#3 in A) Thursday night following a strong showing by the Knights in The Clash National Wrestling Duals in Rochester. They also had six wrestlers ranked in the top 10.

Braxton Raymond scores 32, KoMets come up short 68-66

Junior Braxton Raymond poured in 32 points as the KoMets nearly upset Red Wing on the road last Tuesday night. The Wingers were up two at the half, 35-33, and both teams scored 33 points in the second as K-M fell 68-66. Saturday in Winona K-M dropped their fifth game in a row 77-57 to the Winhawks.

Other winners for K-M were: Dalton Andrist (132) a 15-2 major decision, Ethan Shea (138) a 9-4 decision, Jim Paulson (145) a fall with four seconds remaining in the first period, a Brady Berge pin at 152 19 seconds into the second period....

K-M girls recover from two straight losses to slip past Goodhue 63-56

The KoMets played three state ranked teams in four days last week. They recovered from their first two losses of the season to slip past Goodhue 63-56 Thursday night in the confines of the K-M gym.
